About the Department

At La Salle Technical Training Institute, we understand that academic success goes hand-in-hand with personal wellbeing. The Guidance and Counselling Department exists to ensure that every student — regardless of their background, challenges, or circumstances — has access to a safe, supportive space where they can seek guidance and receive professional help.

Our team of trained and empathetic counsellors works closely with students, parents, and staff to identify challenges early and provide timely, appropriate interventions. Whether a student is struggling with academic pressure, personal difficulties, career decisions, or social challenges, our department is here to walk alongside them.

All sessions are strictly confidential and are conducted in a non-judgmental, respectful environment that upholds the dignity of every individual — a core Lasallian value.

We create a safe, accepting environment where every student feels heard, respected, and valued — regardless of their background, beliefs, or the nature of their challenges.

Student-Centred

Our interventions are tailored to the unique needs of each individual student, recognising that every person's journey is different and deserves personalised attention.
